Services

  • Wondering what Acupuncture is and how it can help you? This is for you! Book a 15 minute phone consultation with Dr. Stephanie Shipwash to discuss Acupuncture and ask questions before booking your initial appointment. Please create an account on the portal and be sure to include your phone number so you can be contacted at your scheduled consultation time. Note: this is not required before booking an initial appointment, but is an option for those unfamiliar with Acupuncture.

  • This appointment will be your first appointment. You will be asked questions about your main complaint, as well as what’s known as “the ten thousand questions” to find out more of what’s going on in your body. After the intake, the treatment will begin and consist of acupuncture, treatment modalities if they are appropriate (Gua Sha, cupping, moxa, Tui Na, etc.), herbal medicine and/or supplement recommendations, and lifestyle suggestions (including possible food therapy suggestions).

  • This is for patients who have previously been seen and had their initial appointment.

  • The NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association) Protocol consists of five needles placed gently in the ear (one or both). This treatment is ideal for those who struggle with relaxation, sleep, pain, behavioral health challenges, and so much more. It can also aid in addiction recovery (such as nicotine), and can help reduce trauma experienced after natural disasters. Patients receiving these treatments sit comfortably in a chair and only have needles placed in one or both ears.
There is also an option for Ear Needles/Ear Seeds for things other than those listed above. This treatment consists of needles in the ear, followed by optional ear seeds.  Can be one or both ears.  Treatment options are: stress and anxiety, depression, weight loss, sleep/insomnia, headaches/migraines, lower back pain/sciatica, shoulder and neck pain, hip and knee pain, premenstrual discomfort, motion sickness, immunity support, cough, eye strain and vision, hearing/ear ringing/tinnitus, inflammation, focus and memory, stop smoking, menopause, dizziness, acne, libido, addiction, and allergies.

  • Scar Treatments are very beneficial to reducing the appearance of scars by moving Qi (energy) and blood. Treatment includes needles surrounding the scar, smokeless moxa used over the scar, the TDP Lamp, and ends with an essential oil application.  Patients have the option to take home moxa (smokeless or regular) to continue treating at home, and that comes with instructions.
Treatment can be booked as an add on, or booked as the only treatment.

  • Microneedling, also called collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive technique that uses thin needles, typically 12 micro tips, to create microchannels in the skin. The “wounds” created help stimulate the skin’s own healing process by producing more collagen and elastin to the areas treated. Cellular turnover is also enhanced and the end result is firm, smoother skin, more even skin tone, and the reduction of scars, pore size, wrinkles, and stretch marks. In addition to the shifts in appearance, the open channels allow for an increase of up to 2000% of products placed on the skin. Microneedling is only performed once a month (Nanoneedling or AcuGlow are great for in between those 4 weeks). Dr. Stephanie includes face, neck, and chest in her treatments.
*Initially must be purchased as a package of 3
*Arrive 20-30 minutes before your appointment if you would like to apply numbing cream before your treatment!

  • Like Microneedling, but uses silicone rather than needles. These microscopic hair-like cones separate the cells within the epidermis (top layer of the skin) to allow active products to be pushed into the skin. These benefits include pigmentation reduction, increased cell turnover, skin rejuvenation, and an immediate glow with no downtime. It is also great for fine line and wrinkles, swelling, and sagging skin. This treatment can be done weekly to exfoliate the skin, and is also great for those with sensitive skin, are 75 years of age or above, and in between Microneedling sessions.

  • AcuGlow treatments are great options as stand alone, or combined with Microneedling or Nanoneedling. The treatments are performed using Gua Sha and cups that are specific for the face. These treatments move lymph and stagnation, tone and lift the face, enhance the health of the skin, and minimize signs of aging. When performed regularly, they release toxins from the skin, hydrate the skin, reduce enlarged pores, increase oxygen-rich blood flow (which gives that glow), strengthen the cells responsible for collagen production, release muscle tension, increase product absorption, reduces puffiness, minimizes wrinkles and fine lines, and regulates oil production.

  • LED light therapy is a non-invasive treatment that utilizes different wavelengths of light to help treat various skin issues such as acne, fine lines, and wounds. LED (light-emitting diode) is a lower energy form compares to the sun and laser treatments. In short, LED is absorbed by the molecules in the skin, which in turn alters the biology nearby cells. Different LED wavelengths that show up as color have different benefits. The TOMA LED Rainbow Light (the LED that we use) can be used for facial services as well as on the body for inflammation and pain. This can be a stand-alone treatment or an add-on treatment to Acupuncture treatment. Treatment time includes intake, choosing the light color, and 15-20 minutes of light therapy.

  • This treatment consists of Chinese Medicine treatment modalities (gua sha, cupping, moxa, tui na, acupressure, etc.) only. This is for those who enjoy treatment modalities and want a little extra time on the treatment table receiving body work. This option is only available as an ADD ON, and only for established patients who have already had their initial appointment.

  • Our feet are the root of our spirit. They keep us grounded, take us home, and carry us through it all. These relaxing foot soaks are rich in antioxidants, herbs, and essential oils and help to unpack the pressure often accumulated in the soles and heels of our feet.

While your feet are soaking, enjoy a scalp and ear massage - where the acupuncture points on the scalp and ears are gently stimulated. Following the soak comes reflexology – a relaxing and rejuvenating wellness treatment that utilizes the feet as an entire microsystem, working to eliminate overworked pressure points, as well as freeing the flow of energy throughout the body. These points relate to parts, organs, and glands in the body and when stimulated, help restore balance, reduce stress, relieve tension, and promote self-healing.

Each bath includes lavender, peppermint, chamomile, rose petals, magnesium, sea salt, baking soda, and optional essential oils. These ingredients are calming, relaxing, stress reducing, boost circulation, soften skin and callouses, reduce and fight odor, soothe irritated skin, rejuvenate tired feet, and hydrate dry skin.

Reflexology is not a medical treatment and does not treat or diagnose specific diseases, but does aid your body in the ability to self-heal.

This treatment is currently only offered as an add on to Initial, Follow-up, Graceful Aging, or NADA/Ear Treatments.

  • The Rogershood Fulvic Soak is a foot (and/or bath) soak formulated with fulvic and humic minerals, known for supporting the body’s natural detoxification process. When used in a foot bath or full-body soak, these minerals can support the skin’s natural ability to eliminate waste through the pores. The skin, being the body’s largest organ, may absorb beneficial minerals while aiding in the removal of impurities.  A Fulvic Humic mineral soak is an excellent way to support your body’s natural detoxification process. The feet, containing approximately 120,000 sweat glands, may serve as an effective way for the body to release impurities.  Fulvic acid in the soak is known for its potential to support healthy skin and promote overall relaxation. Regular use may contribute to a wellness routine aimed at supporting clearer skin, restful sleep, and general well-being.
The treatment begins with an intake and a 30-minute Fulvic foot soak. Towards the soak, enjoy a scalp and ear massage where the acupuncture points are gently stimulated. After the soak, the water is left to rest for 30 minutes while the Acupuncture treatment begins. This treatment is only offered as an add on to Initial, Follow-up, Graceful Aging, or NADA/Ear Treatments.
